His stats speak volumes as he has proven himself as a heavy weight in the baseball arena. ON-Track Ministries was birthed in 2000, the same year Otis retired from baseball.  The Lord took him from one occupation into another.  ON-Track Ministries was formed with founder and President Otis Nixon, Vice President Donell Nixon and Secretary/Treasurer Jana VanDyke.

We started ON-Track with modest expectations and, by the grace of the Lord, it has taken off.  We conduct baseball clinics at local baseball fields for our children.  We conduct fundraisers for local churches and various other organizations.  We help with various charity drives.  We do speaking engagements in schools, churches, jails and motivational seminars.  It is our hope that we can be a bridge for our youth and be able to show how important it is to stay on the correct path with Jesus Christ.

Fundraisers Upward Program for Kids Otis has enrolled in World Harvest’s Ministry school and has committed himself for the next two years to this educational program. This is not only to better himself but to fulfill an inner need to help others.
